Stara Baska

Recently Croatia has become a highly fashionable vacation place. Since it is quite close to Italy, both by land and by sea, always more Italians choose it, both for its beautiful, still pristine beaches and for the prices, which, even though they increase every year, are still advantageous compared to those of many Italian areas.
On the photo above you can see the beautiful sea of Stare Baska, an old fisher town, very small, but nice, on the island of Krk (in Italian Veglia Island.) The place is really beautiful, for the sea and for the vegetation (Spanish broom, etc.) The village is really small, but you can always find 2-3 restaurants that offer delicious fish at still affordable prices.
