In this article I’ll talk about Giglio Castello (which means Giglio’s Castle). In my honest opinion, it’s the most wonderful place of the whole island (well, shores apart of course). in the photos below instead we’re just outside the citadel. The town indeed is all around the top of the mountain, and obviously you have an exceptional sight from there. Inside the town of Giglio Castello you can visit the “Rocca Medicea”, recently renovated and the church of S.Pietro Apostolo.

The town itself is formed by small, narrow streets and curious architectural stuff like the arc below, some old churches, and so on…
